People who hold full-time jobs spend the majority of their waking life at work. Unfortunately, many workers find themselves doing one of these two things all day: sitting or standing.
However, the long-term health implications can be dangerous. For example, people who sit for more than four hours a day are at higher risk for neck stiffness, heart disease, lower back pain, obesity and restless legs. Too much standing can lead to neck and shoulder stiffness, pain and aching in the legs and feet, pronation of the feet and plantar fasciitis.
